TEACHING WITH SONGS

Circle time (15’)

Later, we ask them “What is the day of the week?” and “What is the weather like?”.

Lesson content (20’)

The lesson will start teaching them a cards of body vocabulary (head, shoulder, knees, toes,

eyes, ears, mouth and nose) and they have to repeat with us the pronunciation. 

After that we sing all together our song, “The Body Song”

Then, we hide the body cards in the classroom and they must find the card indicated, for example: “You must find the head card”.

To finish the lesson, we will put on the blackboard a body poster and the students have to match and paste the body cards on the poster, for example: the head card goes with the poster head.

Saying goodbye (5’)

We sing the “Goodbye Song”
